Learning Difficulties: Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Developmental Delay

Various learning and behavioural difficulties can respond to homeopathy. Since my training in Brain Gym I have worked successfully with a number of children, helping to unlock their potential and enhance their ability to learn and to interact socially.  There are many possible factors that affect a child’s development and behaviour. My aim is to address the causes of the difficulties rather than simply - like most other approaches - to address the resulting problems.

Between 2000 and 2007,having completed training in Brain Gym,  I ran the Kaleidoscope Programme, a holistic programme for children with learning difficulties. We combined homeopathy with cranial osteopathy and brain-stimulating co-ordination excersises. In 2007, after a long battle with the charities commission, we decided to close the programme down due to lack of funding. We had hoped to register as a charity so that local families could have been able to afford to use our services, however the Charities Commission are very sceptical when it comes to alternative therapies and despite jumping through all the hoops they set for us we were still refused charitable status. Throughout the seven years that the programme ran we operated on a very low income, with some of the team doing a significant amount of unpaid work.  Sadly, in 2007, we decided it was time to call it a day.
